3rd April 2016
Bright clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Vanilla, white chocolate and a little apple on the nose. Palate is smooth, a little dry and has modest carbonation. Smooth malts, a nice level of vanilla, Smooth bourbon, no spice or heat here. Tangy fruits and a touch of something live calvados before a smooth finish. A sweetish beer, but its well integrated and pretty drinkable.

22nd March 2016
Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Palate is slightly dry with modest fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, trace of dark chocolate and a very light touch of brandy. An emulsion paint vibe that is not uncommon in some BA beers. A little raisin before a light spicy finish. Nice idea but I want a Brandy BA stout to be richer and more sumptuous than this, it’s a bit lightweight.
