Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus fruit, marmite, medicinal bitter. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody hop bitter, molasses, light fruit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

A second bottle, left for a few weeks after the first one tasted quite green appley. Almost clear gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Milky sweet pale malts - skewed and a little tangy. Very tangy orange. Mild floralness. Light dry finish. A very awkward tasting beer and not that pleasant, something screwy here.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a short-lived white head. Aromas of light grapefruit, some booze notes. Taste is light bitter, citrus. Expected more of a hop hit to be honest.

Keg at the Blue Moon, Cambridge. Cloudy yellow/orange with the tiniest bit of head. Aroma: Citra. In all its resiny, piney, apricotty glory. Bitter fruit hit hit a sweet and almost salty edge. Complex balanced finish with a bitter hop kick at the end. Perfect amount of carbonation. This gets mixed results from other raters but I thought it was glorious. The best beer I’ve had in months.

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a moderate, creamy white head. The aroma has bready malts and ripening orane. Medium sweet flavor with further bready pale malt character, a bit kf pine, minerals, tangerine rind, faint orange creme. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light hop resins on the finish, a touch of alcohol boot, bready and lightly toasted pale malts, minerals, faint grass, orange, general citrus rind bitterness. Nothing special.

Tap at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Hazy, dark golden. Thick, lasting, white head. Good looker. Jammy sweet. Grapefruit. Light, fusty, bubblegum. Sweet malt. Buttery toast. The works, really. Taste is more down to earth, dry and fruity, with a lightly chewy, bitter finish. Tasty.
