Cask at The Wrens, Leeds. Pours a hazy golden yellow with god white head. No carbonation. Aromas of lemon and fudge. Slipped down a treat at the end of the night any road.

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 24/07/13. Clear pale golden blonde with a decent white cap. Good lacing ensues. Nose is a little on the thin side, toasted malt, light citrus, vanilla notes. Taste comprises light caramel, citrus, some hop presence, orange pith. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Ok GB affair.

Cask at The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light straw colour with a broken white head. The aroma is weak stale malt leading to a medium to weak bitter flavour with a watery malt, slightly resinous palate. A drinkable session ale but nothing too special.

Cask @ The Stubbing Wharf in Hebden Bridge. Has a good looking smooth head. It’s hoppy tropical fruit is mild in both taste and aroma. Medium bodied.

Cask handpull at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Ruby red/brown colour with a small white head. Malt chocolate evident, mixed with citrus and somewhat too bitter. I found this beer a little too muddled for my liking.

Bottle: Nose is banana biscuits. Taste is very sweet, slight cereal, touch of mint, slight lemon. Mouthfeel is reasonably full with touch of lactose finish. Too sweet and tastes of next to nothing.

Cask at the Shirley (Solihull) Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is grassy fruit leading to a strong bitter, malty flavour. This cask was almost done, so perhaps the rating would have been higher had I arrived earlier.

Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin white head and loads of lace. The aroma is big malt and so is the flavour which is weak bitter but uber malty! The bitterness does linger into the aftertaste though for a refreshing session ale.
