Cask@Spitting Feathers Brewery Tap, Chester. Clear amber looks with a thin white head. Pretty uninspiring nose with some muffled grassy hop lurking. Palate a bit thin. Citrus was about the only thing that stood out in the flavour. Hoppage not prominent enough. Dry bitter finish. Drinkable but blah.

Cask, handpump at The Riverhead Brewery Tap, Marsden, West Yorkshire, 22.04.11 Pours warm gold with a white head there is a slight haze. There is a touch of cardboard at first but then some citrus shows. Bit dry at the end, little bit thin. Easy drinking and inoffensive. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask, handpump at FFTMC, Oxford 17.04.11 Pours amber with a white head, good clarity to this beer. Nicely bitter, its a lasting but not to pronounced bitterness. Malty & fruity throughout, not exceptional but its fine enough. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 20/04/2011. Pale gold with a slight, white head. Lemony aroma with some sweetish malts and a touch of floral hop. Citrus flavours, with some bready malt body and a dryish finish. Good.

Cadk Euston Tap. Clear gold lasting white head. Lovely hoppy soft in mouth. Really good golden ale. Lovely creamy hoppy golden alr.

Cask at the Rat & Ratchet on 19th February 2011. Pale, straw coloured with thin white head. Grapefruit citrus in aroma and main bodytaste, and a brief scent of soapiness. Very citric lingering aftertaste again - mainly grapefruit; smooth mouthfeel.

Cask as Boatland Bitter. A dark golden beer with a dense orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as lighter notes of caramel and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth.
