Dark and very hazy, but a deep amber and copper coloured body instead of anything brown or in the realm of that, as I was expecting, with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall off-white and tan head. Aroma of bright and super pungent gingerbread, with plenty of caramelised sugars here as well, that makes this smell like a cookie with a bunch of allspice, nutmeg and of course dried ginger here - very nice in the nose. Medium-bodied; Relatively robust ginger flavours at first with a nice kick of allspice and canella as well as some milder brown sugar notes, but the ginger hits towards the end with the nice malts and a light hint of alcohol warmth towards the finish. Aftertaste is crisp, very gingery and especially holiday-like with a lot of spiced notes, but some good malts, a lot of sugars and a great way to warm up without putting a fire on! Overall, a very nice spiced based beer without being cloyingly sweet, too pungent in terms of spice or deep with malts - this hits the marks just right across the board and is very enjoyable, especially later in the season where it's only slightly chilly! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 12-November-2021 for US$3,25 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-April-2022 as my family and I are leaving for Spring Break 2022 and perhaps to the chilly weather for the entire season!

Very hazy and rich copper, bronze and light tan coloured body with a thick, four to five centimetre tall off-white head with a small lace on the sides that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of squash, light allspice and bananas and cloves with a good deal of bubble gum and yeast here a lot of malt and richness, but also a nice spicey quality with some dry and fairly sweet notes that come through at the very end - strong in the nose in a good way, and very reminiscent of a weizenbock, perhaps a little more than a squash-based beer. Full-bodied; Rich, full-flavoured and spicey allspice and cloves show up at first with a lot of yeast and bready flavours as well with a touch of caster sugar and some from caramelised sugar notes, toffee and even from a bit of lactose it seems. Aftertaste is rich and pungent as well with the squash coming out first along with a nice pungent banana and yeast complexity with some wheat, bread, clove and bubblegum note along with a pleasant sweetness and a touch of alcohol here as well. Overall, a nice and strong, pungent and squashy beer complete with a bunch of spice notes as well - very nice throughout and perhaps a bit too pungent in terms of the pumpkin/squash, but nicer with the yeast complexities here and subdued sweetness. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-September-2021 for US$2,69 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-January-2022 when I got my power back following a small storm here in the city.

16oz can, purchased at Costco. Poured a copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was gourdy pumpkin, with nutmeg, allspice. Pleasant stuff, a bit heavy, but a decent pumpkin beer on a crisp, Autumn night.

Poured a bright golden-orange color with a fluffy, very slightly off-white head. Nice mosaic bouquet, with a sharp lime citrus character that just comes across so good in these beers. Juicy Stone fruit. Really good. Slight alcohol heat at the finish.

Crisp super copper and bronze coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white, large-bubbled head. Aroma of cream, lactose, vanilla, grain and a dash of icing sugar. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong caster and even icing sugar flavours at first with a large dose of vanilla and pastry-like notes along with a dash of lactose, but more of a vanilla-like sweetness than pure milk sugar, but a dose of grain and yeast comes through closer to the end as well. Aftertaste shows more of the creamy and vanilla-y notes, all ending with a touch of a grain and malt with a hint of bitterness from the funky and yeast coming through and no hop bitterness at all. Overall,  a pretty soft and structured beer with a lot of vanilla and creamy, sweet notes throughout that is much better than my Genesee Cream Ale days back in school, but not a great beer overall. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Giant Food in Manassas, Virginia on 19-May-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-June-2020.

Ridiculously hazy deep copper and orange coloured body with a completely opaque bronze and light brownish body, with a fairly thick, two to three centimetre tall off-white and tan head. Aroma of very nice orange juice, mangoes, light pepper, flowers, hay, grass and a good deal of both resin and malt with some noticeable alcohol in the nose as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong, very rich malt shows at first with a nice bite along with a good touch of alcohol and a nice fruity flavour throughout that shows some pineapple, mangoes and especially orange juice. Aftertaste shows a very nice balance of fruit, malt and hops with a deep bite throughout, but still fairly easy-drinking, considering the alcohol and richness of the malts. Overall, a nice and enjoyable Imperial-ish IPA that has a very nice colour and super rich body that shows well and blends well with all the sugars, floral notes and especially hops. Very nice to sample, especially local and super-fresh. Worth trying to find, if you like the style or the Mosaic hop in general. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 28-August-2020 for US$4,58 sampled at my house here in Washington on 02-September-2020.

Perfectly clear orange and light copper coloured body with a very thick, seven to eight centimetre tall tan head that looks very nice, albeit tall. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, full oranges, pungent candy, alcohol and a dash of perfume, all with some noticeable dry hopping and bitterness. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours dominate at first, but all give way to bunches (and heaps) of citrus flavours, especially full oranges, grapefruits and a lot of citrus candy, complete with a touch of an acidic bite. Aftertaste shows the good balance of malt and relatively pungent grass note, complete with a smooth yeast bite and noticeable alcohol, but the flavours remain with both the bitterness and the citrus fruits. Overall,  a very nicely constructed and executed citrus-based IPA with a lot of dry and grassy notes with a pleasant bitter reminiscent of the older East Coast IPAs with a lot of hops that aren't trying to be 'new school. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Giant in Manassas, Virginia on 19-May-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-June-2020.

Draft at 2 Silos Brewing - December 28th 2019 trip. Poured a clear golden orange color with a small, slightly off-white head. Aroma was hoppy, but perhaps a bit more malt-forward than I expected it to be. I got plenty of light lemon and orange peel from this one. Medium bitterness.
