Description
WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS

We started trial brewing on a home brew kit back in early 2009 when the country was in the depths of the recession, which is partly how the name Brightside arose. That and the fact that we also like The Killers!

These days we’re an established name in Manchester, with a reputation for quality consistency and service. Our beers can be found in many of the free of tie pubs and bars in the city, out towards Crewe and Chester in the South, through the Wirral, and up to Preston in the North (in fact, across much of the UK by way of swapped casks with partner breweries and wholesalers).

Half a pint while continuing the CAMRA Mild Magic challenge. Not a mild but not a bad golden/blonde ale.

Steve O'Neal holds the record for longest punt in NFL history at 98 yards. This punter is enjoying this steady mild. Easy is its main characteristic.

Time Capsule beer with events today as I drink this beer including Australians' returning Antony Albanese back into government. Three people shot dead in a Swedish hair salon and five rescued from the upper Amazon region after a day and a half surviving the wilderness after their plane crashed. Not a stated cherry, nor sweet, but there's enough of the fruit to make an impact.

Swift half in the Waterhouse, Manchester before a concert. Rather hoppy for a mild but quite pleasant.

Deadication beer to Muddy Waters, died on this day in 1983. A Sunshower might create muddy waters too! Very mildly hazy pale golden. Hoppy aroma and taste, fruit developing in the latter and lingering in its aftertaste. Fairly ordinary though.

Nice looking best bitter, clear pale chestnut with a frothy/cremay white head, but not much of an aroma. Light bodied but nicely bitter with soft, sweet malt, subtle hedgerow fruit and floral notes

Nice and easy hoppy beer with some backbone considering its strength. Nose too is hopped. Has a dryness. Wetherspoon found.

Milky style porter, especially in aroma and aftertaste. Initial taste is a little grittier with coffee available.
