Gylden brun tåkete med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter sydhavsfrukter, ananas noe fersken, ananas og lett trevirke. Lett. Søtlig fruktig smak. Svært lett bitterhet.

It’s nowt special but as bottled pales go it’s pretty tasty. Zesty and grassy with a decent hop kick and a slight sweetness to the aftertaste. Lovely.

Pours hazy orange colour with decent white head. Citrus aroma, I get the grapefruit. Just lacks a bit more finish. It’s pretty good, but let’s no go overboard just because the brewers write a good description.

330ml into tulip glass. Mild orange/tangerine nose. Copper coloured beer with lasting fluffy white head. Quite high carbonation. This has quite a subtle hop bitterness leading to fruity caramel then a long bitter finish, liqourice lurks in the background. Nice beer, dangerously quaffable at 6.4%

At only 3.8% this is a good effort. Amber colored, white head. Slightly malty, caramel aroma. Mild flavored, low bitterness. Drinkable.

When I think of Pilsner I think of Pilsner Urquell and that crisp finish. This aint no Pilsner Urquell. Very ordinary.

[As Dreadnaught 8/11] Bottle, 12C. Black with an inch of tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, grass, earth, mild spices. Slightly syrupy. Sweet with dark toffee, chocolate, some burnt flavours, licorice. Bitterness is there and nicely in harmony with the beer, but struggles a bit with the sweetness until the end which leans evermore towards dryness and is a little spicy. Lowish carbonation is insistent and works well. A little sweet for me but harmonious and tasty. [3.6][As Return of the Dread, 5/15] Bottle, 11C. Black with a tan head that fades to a cm then is less than a coat. Vibrant aroma of chocolate, anise, vanilla, blackstrap molasses. Lighter bodied and less sweet than the original Dreadnaught, to its advantage. Silky, lowish carbonation. Chocolate, spices, molasses, "high" roasted notes. Bitterness is quite high, but there’s nothing disjointed about it. Alcohol is dangerously well-hidden. Not a great deal of depth, but very nice and pleasingly hoppy.

Not a bad IPA, hazy copper body, creamy off white head with lots of lacing. Aroma of pine, hops and hints of malt. Taste is text book IPA, finish is a tad metallic.
