Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Thanks to Mr Bois for this one. Aroma is berry, orange peel, hoppy, toffee malts and sweet berry. Amber coloured pour, light haze and a halo of off white head. Flavour is berry, caramelpeach. Nice hop resin. Palate is sticky resin, moderate carbonation. Firm clean bitterness. Solid beer.

Bottle at home. Has a slightly hazy orange color, with a light beige foam head. A fruity aroma with notes of orange, mango, grass, fruity hops, pale malt and citrus fruits. A little more careful than expected. The taste is also fruity and slightly sweet. In an otherwise somewhat dry aftertaste theres some freshly cut grass and fruity hops, and also a bit hay. Mouth feel is soft and smooth and has a medium bitterness. This is a solid, balanced and fruity pale ale.

Nose is yeast, soft peach. Taste is a little bland, soft hops, herbal slightly floral notes, slight mint in the soapy finish. It’s very forgettable, I assume the stella ratings means it travels poorly, and is better on tap in it’s county of origin. Forgettable.

A very inspired floral and citrus aroma. Fresh citrus fruit flavor, and the bitterness is nicely balanced with proper malt for an APA. Very enjoyable. I’d say this one lived up to its hype.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is clean and crisp, lightly grassy, noble hops. Fresh, dean palate. Flavor is mostly of the saaz hops, with light grain and a bit of grass. Very much in the classic pils style. Clean and crisp and the makings of a great summer refresher.
