Pours dark brown with a lasting head.Nose shows roasted malt, roasted coffee and biscuity rye.Very similar flavours, but with rich roasty characters throughout. More coffee notes too.Carbonation seems a bit high, could be lowered a bit.

BBE 25 Jul 2013 - Pours clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, hints of caramel. Taste is sweetish, malty and biscuity with notes of caramel, hints of aged hops. Finish is crisp, biscuity and slightly fruity with hints of caramel. Feels a bit unbalanced and not very fresh.

330ml bottle. Brown amber colour, foamy off-white head and aroma of malt, toffee, abit sour. Taste is biscuity malt caramel with a light citrus bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.

Bottle. Pretty much black with a beige head that laces well and never disappears. Earthy aroma with bread crusts, spiced chocolate, coffee, hazelnuts. Silky mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Not very sweet at all, with overdone breadcrusts, coffee, nuts, chocolate, grass. A fair bit of bitterness that lingers with spicy rye notes at the very dry end. Started around 11C and really grew on me as it warmed. Complex, original, very well balanced. Cue Etta James. [3.9]Overt rye spiciness fading a bit. Can’t say I mind. Very fine drop indeed.

Tap at Hudsons Coffee, Perth Domestic Airport. Yellow golden colour, foam white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt & hop with a roasted note. Taste is citrus with biscuity malt, some tropical fruits, and a tangy lingering bitterness. Light bodied, slightly creamy mouthfeel, medium carbonation and dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

Lots of bread, honey and nougat dominate the nose. You immediately notice the hops tingling your tongue, but they quickly give way to more sweet malt and some light mulled spices. The palate is reasonable, although it could be longer and more robust, and the alcohol is pretty prominent. An interesting beer, but not necessarily a great one.

Appearance: Light hazy amber golden color with a frothy white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Fresh floral hoppy and mild tropical fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fresh citric and floral hoppy, malty and mild tropical fruity.
Overall impression: Not massive, just Fresh! and tasty APA.
