(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, white head. Very floral, hoppy nose with a touch of citrus. Rather light in body with a (bit too) heavy carbonation. Mainly dry, but comes with a discreet caramel sweetness. Fruity and fresh with notes of grapefruit. Dry, hoppy finish. A very refreshing brew. 081205

Lightly hazed golden ale with a nice creamy froathy white head. Faint earthy hops appears through cloudy malts. In mouth, crisp clean malts and classy lightly floral hops, light peppery notes, with some apples. Not as intense as North American APAs, but very dignified. Bought in London, February 2005.

Bottle - Thanks to mullet for bringing this over from Australia!
Nose of some spices (coriander), honey, fruits (grapefruit, apples), caramel, grain. Reminded me somewhat of apple juice, but not in a bad way (i.e. not too sweet). Very well balanced aroma. Remarkable, moderately bitter flavour, which lasts quite long. Because the bitterness is accompagnied by some astringy hints, I’m not completely fan of it, but still it’s my best American Pale Ale so far. I think I could like it more when I’ve had another one (or two).

Draught in Little Creatures bar in Fremantle and in bottle from Sainsburys. Just one of my favourite beers of all time. Finding Little Creatures in Australia after weeks of freezing cold lager was just a joy. Then finding it in Britain was almost unspeakably exciting. Aromas of raspberries and hops and a depth of malt with good full mouth feel and then this attack of Oregon hops on the end. Tremendous

(Bottle 33 cl) Neat, dark amber with a fine, beige head. High carbonation - way too high - the beer tries to escape the bottle as soon as the cap is removed. Lovely nose full of nuts and aroma hops. Light nutty notes in the flavour also, together with some roasted malt. But the body is thin and watery and completely lacks potency. Most likely an excellent session bear - if you can cope with the carbonation. 150805

An amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is lovely hoppy combined with notes of caramel - it reminds me of an IPA. The flavor is dry and boring compared to the aroma - it contains notes of brewmash, hints of caramel, and a dry hoppyness. It lacks power in the flavor.

Bottled. Golden colour, small head. Grass aroma. Sweet and lightly fruity with brief, somewhat salty finish. Not at all pilsnerish nor enjoyable. A big disappointment.

Bottle. Malty, very fruity aroma. Brown colour, small head. Malty flavour with a hint of citrus. Slightly watery, but also semi-low ABV.

Golden color with peaches, grapefruits and apples in the nose. Hoppy body, albeit a bit too light, citrusy hops are noticeable and a nice bitter finish.

An amber beer with a nice head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy as well as grassy - and so is the flavor.
