Charvoal nose. Black, medium tan head, nice lace. Charcoal, smoke, brief appearance of raisin.. Lasting smoke finish. Full body, silky mouthfeel. Chalky, fairly dry, full flavored. Outstanding execution of the style.

Pint can, WW. Dark brown pour, soft creamy brow head that overflows my glass. Roasted malt, light milk chocolate nose. Creamy chocolate, oatmeal, light spice. Quite sweet, which is the only drawback. It has a wonderful flavor.

Light honey, subtle grape nut aroma. Clear amber, thick head. Dried leaves, honey, pecan. All quite subtle. Light body, moderate carbonation. Good, more for pounding than contemplating

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! Hazy gold, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt, orange, grass. Taste is pale malt, stone fruit. Thin. A little weird, but decent.

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! 10/18/20. I guess I should try this since it just won a GABF bronze. Clear amber, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grain, toast, plum. Taste is cherry, strawberry, caramel, grain, honey. Medium bodied, flavorful, crisp. Could use a bit more bitterness. Granted the GABF sample was probably a little fresher than this one.
