16 oz can purchased at the brewery. Aroma shows mild citrus on top of earthy / danky hops. The flavor has a good amount of citrus fruits with again a underlying dank, hop undercurrent. The 9% is well hidden. Nicely made!

Taster pour on tap at Rising Pint Brewfest. It's an opaque, inky black with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong chocolate and vanilla, bourbon. Taste is strong roasted malt, chocolate, oaky vanilla, bourbon. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is a rich, dessert sipper. The bourbon is more balanced in the aroma; it dominates the flavor a bit.

Crowler (3/12/21) pour. It's a deeply hazy dark yellow with decent sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with good retention and many rings of soapy lacing. Aroma is dank musky herb over citrus and mild candied fruit. Taste is strong dank vegetal herb over citrus and strong grainy malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish. Overall, some very nice elements. Straddles the line a bit between traditional IIPA and NEIIPA but fair complexity and interest.
