Bottle at share. Really liked this, not the concensus. Dark, clear brown, kind of flat. Strong, leathery, boozy aroma. Taste is sweet and strong.. Molasses, plums, maple syrup. Boozy.

22oz bottle pours out crisp copper color topped with small head. Nose is big sweet malts some barrel notes and spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts barrel kick and some spice.

Keg at BD Mighty Boosh, 12/07/18. Light black with a decent tan cap that retains well. Nose is funk, wood must, vanilla, dried fruits, dusty red berries. Taste comprises light Belgian yeast esters, basement tones, hint of red berry funk, vinous, light brett, damp hay, cherry flavoured pipe tobacco. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic wave. Interesting enough sour.

Light and unassuming, mild blueberry against a grainy malt base and subtle vanilla/clove sweetness. Hints of white bread on the finish, and a pleasant blueberry undercurrent through the fade. Better than I thought it would be.

Pretty uncomplicated IIPA, hefty caramel offset by heavy pine and modest grapefruit-orange notes. Fairly old-school, but a tad boozy and too sweet. Just kind of an inert chunk of a big IPA, drinkable but dull.

Very sweet take on the style, with a funky wet grain sugariness underlining the caramel and biscuit malt notes. Grows cloy on the back end; in dire need of depth. Pass.

Drinkable, light and easy, with a clove backbone laced with vanilla and banana, followed by grass and mild citrus before closing with a dry, yeasty floral fade. Medium-light body makes for quick sipping, good for a 90-degree Alabama late afternoon.
