Bottle. A more or less black one, with a minimalistic off-white head. Gentle but pleasant aroma with soy sauce, toffee, dark chocolate and roasted malts. It's full bodied and softly carbonated, sweet, with a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, some dried fruit and caramel. Lasting finish. Pleasant indeed. 240622

Bottle at u kunstatu. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, vanilla, some liquorice, taste is dusty cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, sweet.

Can 0.5l. Slightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- sweet malty, bready, vanilla, nice spicy and herbal noble hops. FLAVOR- clean and smooth, slightly sweet, moderately bitter, malty, bready, vanilla, nice noble hops again, yeasty at the bottom. Medium bodied. Great lager.

500ml Can - Golden with a foamy head. Grapefruit, orange and notes of sultanas in the aroma. Grapefruit, caramel, orange and some slightly sweet and spicy notes in the taste.

Bottle at Base Camp. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. A bit of burnt astringency. Lots of chocolate, a bit of cocoa puding, feels a bit artificial. Good though, tasty, just not the best.

On tap at BGB, with dem Brits, courtesy of Leigh. Muddy dark red body with a pinkish, thick head. Huge raspberry tea and jam aroma. Lean taste, raspberry fruity notes, creamy, vague citric tartness, mild bready touches. Works, it is what it is!

500 ml can. Unclear light champagne golden with a big foamy head. Marzipan, grassy hops, mango, floral notes, buttery notes, vanilla, biscuit cake, lemon zest, freshly mowed grass and hay. Hoppy zesty bitterness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty floral fruity bittersweet finish. An excellent Czech Pilsner, that tries to be a German one, but definitely cannot hide its origin.
