Canned, from The Fat Cow, Bangkok. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Aroma of coriander and boiled poratoes. Sweetish with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy with DMS and pineapple. Industrial style.

Gedronken uit een flesje in Bang Niang op 8 dec 2018. Gekocht in supermarkt. Troebel gouden kleur, wit schuim. Redelijke smaak, ook wat hop. Niet echt een wit bier.

Draft at Let the Boy Die, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, herbal, some light tea notes. The flavour is light sweet with a light, slightly watery, dry herbal, light fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Served relatively warm and I think it needs to be a little cooler. Nice enough but became a little sickly as the beer warmed and for that reason it’s not really a session beer.

Tap at Let the Boy Die, Bangkok. Poured a murky medium brown with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, stone fruits, dry spicy pepper. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, slightly watery, light dry, floral pepper spice, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A bit of a shock to the system initially but this beer grew on me and I would order a second.

Bottle from Wishbeer, delivered to my hotel in Phuket. They do have many wheat based beers in Thai craft scene, I guess it's a good style for this hot weather. Pours nice yellow-whitish cloudy, some white foam on top. Nose has some yeast spices, light esters and wheat tartness. Taste is lightly tart and wheaty, some nice fruitiness coming out, really, something like a pear or ripe red apple. Some mineral edge there at the same time. Overall, quite drinkable and pleasant.

On tap at CRAFT Sukhumvit, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light wheat and maybe a touch of coriander. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus, some tartness, a little coriander and soft wheat. Clean enough but very boring.
