Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 16/05/09. This was the 4.5% version. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of floral hops with some caramel sweetness. A doughy malt flavour, with some fruit and a decent bitter finish. Ok.

Cask, Gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 08-05-09 Pours golden with a tiny film of white bubble masquerading as a head. Aroma is a touch sweet but some floral notes detected. Taste is light fruits, bit malty, I can’t say that this was particularly memorable. A6 A4 F6 P3 Ov12 3.1 Had this again at The Crown, Cornmarket, Oxford 11.02.11 Pours gold with with a slim white head, there is almost a saaz like lagery hoppiness to this. Aroma is of pencil and slightly dusty hop. Taste is fruity, its clean, crisp and served in very good nick, better second time around hence the re-rate. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 29/04/09. Golden in colour with next to no head. Sweetish, honeyed aroma with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour began with some sweet malts before a touch of apricot and a short, dry finish. Ok.
