Tap. Tapped, Leeds. Hazy, chestnut brown. Thin, lasting, beige head. Dried fruit esters. Brown sugar. Chocolate malts. Some breadiness. Taste is light dry. Hint of sweet. Palate is a bit thinner than the aroma hints at. Finish is light, slightly spicy dry. Very decent.

Keg. Leeds IBF. Clear gold. White, bubbly head. Fruity, very sweet malt. A little grassiness. Taste is more of the malty sweetness. Dry at the end. Chew on the palate. Finishes chewy sweet. Not for me, this one.

Half pint on tap at Tapped Leeds, brewed on-site. Tiny white head on top of a golden coloured body with a wheat haze. Spotty lacing down the glassware. Spiced fruity nose. Taste of sweet citrus fruits and ripe banana on a backbone of wheat. Lightly spiced to the ending. Foamy in the mouth. Okay Brit weissen, a tad too sweet (Leeds 06.07.2014).

From tap, half pint, brewed on site at Tapped Leeds for Le Grand Depart (Tour de France). Filmy layer blanketing the glass. Near-clear, yellow-gold coloured body. Fruity smell with grapefruit and sweaty hops. Refreshing taste of lemony hops added by grapefruit and followed by a very dry bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Easy to drink (Leeds 06.07.2014).

Keg @ Tapped, Leeds. Pours murky brown and tastes quite vinegary. I’m assuming something didn’t quite go to plan here?

Slightly hazed amber-copper brew with a thin head. Has plenty of tropical fruits, abundant in both aroma and taste with a small carbonation that you can feel lingering in the palate.

Keg at Tapped Leeds. Pours hazy pale gold, thick white head. Nice pine hop aromas, some sweet malt. Big Simcoe taste, chalky bite, light sourness, but mostly hop bitter. Long bitter finish. Pretty good.
