Cask at the Lion and Key, Hull, 20/02/20. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent light tan cap. Nose is chocolate, orange, sweet malts, sugars. Taste comprises sweet chocolate, toffee, dark malts, Terrys chocolate orange. Full body, soft carbonation and a little oily, comes over sweet and lightly boozey. Passable affair ... a touch simplistic and a little hote and chewy ... best not on cask.
