50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Trinkgut, Emmerich. Clear light yellow with a white head. Grainy aroma with faint hops. Bittersweet taste with a hint of metal. Typical cheapish German pilsener but decent enough.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before March 2018. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, cloves and some vanilla. Moderately sweet, malty, rather yeasty-spicy taste of banana, cloves, some vanilla and hints of honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little tart and rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before April 2018. Clear, very dark red to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally roasty and a little grassy aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, chocolate and hints of straw. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty and a bit grassy taste of caramel, toasted nuts, some chocolate and hints of straw, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, minimally metallic finish. Medium body, a little creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad for that price, quite decent actually.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before May 2018. Clear, dark reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, slightly artificial aroma of cola, burnt sugar and a touch of caramel. Rather sweet, a little sourish, a bit artificial taste of cola, burnt sugar and some caramel, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a bit tart finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Sweetish, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and a little roasty aroma of overripe banana, cloves, chocolate and toasted nuts. Moderately sweet, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit roasty taste of overripe banana, cloves, toasted nuts and some chocolate, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, a little roasty and minimally metallic finish. Thin to medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not bad, a bit too watery though.

Donkerbruin bier met mooi stevig schuim. Smaak is helaas iets minder, licht zoet en weinig body. Tonen van karamel en licht rook zijn aanwezig. Al met al best aardig.

Sweetish, artificially fruity aroma of lemonade and lime. Rather sweet, minimally sourish, artificially fruity taste of lemonade and lime, followed by a short, slightly tart finish. Thin body, a bit astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay for what it is!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local ’trinkgut’, best before April 2018. Hazy, orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish and artificially fruity aroma of grapefruit and lemonade. Rather sweet, slightly sourish, very fruity and moderately artificial taste of grapefruit, lemonade and some banana, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly tart finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent and a little astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad at all, can easily compete with the one from Schöfferhofer.
