Bourbon Barrel Vanilla Stout from Warwick Farm Brewing

500 ml bottle from the brewery. Aroma is a nice mix of bourbon with vanilla bean. Flavor has the addition of some roasted malt. The vanilla lingers for a good duration after the sip. Bourbon cuts the sweetness. Very nice!

Hockey game tonight has been canceled, so we’ll have a couple of beers, and maybe smoke some crack.

Creamy mango, easy drinking. WFB have these midrange IPAs dialed in. Would like to see them churn out more DIPAs.

16 oz. can. Aroma has a nice amount of roasted malts, chocolate, ash. The body is real nice and full with a ton of bold flavors of malt characteristics. Rich and great malt depth.

Can pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! An opaque black with ring of beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is strong roasted earthy malt, nuts, milder cacao. Taste is strong roasted malt, Baker's/dark chocolate, molasses, vague nuts. Smooth, thick, average carbonation, bittersweet finish. A very strong version of the style w/o adjuncts--just really well made!

Real boozy, slight burn, vanilla. This can certainly be sat on for a bit. Real hot right now, curious how this will settle itself after six months.
