0.5 l bottle from Spar in Semriach. Poured deep golden body with small head. Sweetish flower malty aroma, with touch of honey. Flavor sweetish malty again, quite full bodied, honeyish and pleasant, with just a hint of alcohol, well hidden with pleasant sweetness from my perspective. However, my girlfriend thought it is pretty alcoholic for given ABV. Small carbonation with fine oily texture. Had pleasant, not so long, sweetish finish. Quite good beer.

03/01 0.5 l can from Spar in Semriach. Poured pale yellow body with big white head. Surprisingly, beer is felt in aroma, some hops, dust and malt, but of course lemon is dominated. Flavor is quite nice, too, not too sweet at all, well balanced with that herbal notes. Finish is also fine, follows the flavor. Very nice radler, the best of all I’ve tried, but still I do not consider this a beer.

02/01 0.5 l bottle from Spar in Semriach. Poured golden body with medium head going down at medium pace. Weak, somewhat malty aroma with grass notes. Flavor is sweetish a bit but not so tasty as Bierige Bier, more like thin bodied brew. Finish follows the flavor, bittersweet and quite long. Thought this would be even better than ordinary Puntigamer, but it is actually not good Helles, more like just a little bit odd pale lager.

01/01 0.5 l can from Spar in Semriach. This radler poured pale yellow body with bigger white head that went away pretty fast. Except the lemonade had some grassy hops aroma, quite industrial scenting. Flavor not bad at all, quite refreshing although bit too sweet. Finish is short, sweet and of course more artificial lemon than real beer. Still, one of the best radlers I’ve had.

30/12 The very first beer from my Styrian holidays, had it in Pansion where we stayed, as helles beer option (only 2 beers there). Draught, had it few times. Pours pale yellow body with medium head. Nice flowery aroma, with some fruitiness, mostly apple. Nice, pleasant, but quite light flavor, malty and fruity. Pretty carbonated, although not too much to ruin it. Bit light bodied, following the shorter finish, but very nice and tasty beer.
Now when I saw the ratings don’t know did I get the right one as drank it only draught, but the keg indicated so. Mine was typical German Helles style beer, way far from pale lager!

On tap at Zu den 3 goldenen Kugeln in Citypark, Graz.
Pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, sourish alcoholic nose. Sweet malty and light hoppy aroma with strong alcoholic notes. Also mild notes of yeast typical for Slovenian brewpub/breweries. Short sweet finish. Better than 3 Kugel but not much.

Bottled, alc. 5.2% (BB 11/2007)
Golden clear color, cloudy white head. Paper and vegetable-hops in the nose. Sweet malty and harsh lager. Woody, cheap hops in the flavor. Alcohol in the aftertaste. Very unbalanced and cheap-like flavor.

0.5l bottle purchased at some Spar near Leibnitz This poured a nice bronze colour with a bedium sized head. Unimpressive malty/grainy nose. The taste is weak. A pleasant, chewy mild hopiness (that was lemony and/or metallic at times) is the focal point of this one and it continues nicely into the aftertaste, and I dig that. One can, however feel just a week, "skittish" crude malty, maaaaybe even alcoholic taste. The taste differs a lot from the crude alcohol-crude bitterness assault I recieved from some other Austrian pale bocks, and it’s understandable, as this isn’t exactly a true bock but an ice beer. So "ordinary" and yet it eludes most conventional categories.
