(33cl bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a fluffy and quite stable foamy white head. Dusty, light-sweet and citrus-fruity malt aroma with nettle-spicy hops. Light bitter flavour with a rounded malty sweetness in the background. Light yeasty, malty and slightly citrus fruity taste; light to medium bodied; crisp to lively carbonation; moderately dry, slightly fruity finish. Refreshing, quaffable Zwickel.

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden with a foamy white medium-sized head, not very persistent. Slightly sweet grainy aroma with a touch of citrus and shy herbal hops from behind. Light-sweet flavour, grainy, subtle fruity taste with light herbal accents; moderately dry, rather slim, malt-accented finish with light notes of herbal hops. My sample was a bit aged, but it was still (or already?) pretty quaffable.

(bottle, via DerDoppelbock) Clear, reddish brown clour with a big and quite persistent foamy beige head. Moderately sweet toast-malty, slightly nutty and bready aroma with caramel and faint notes of lemon. Sweet flavour with a mild bitterness, light bodied, crispy, if not fizzy carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel; slim, toasty, sweet-bitter finish with caramel/toffee in the aftertaste. Light but drinkable “Alt”, that lacks fruit-character and hops; tastes more like a decent Dunkel.

Bottled (Thanks DerDoppelbock). Yellow colour, small white head. Grass in aroma. Flavour is grass, hops and some slight notes of malts. Not very pleasant.

Bottle. Clear light pale yellow color with a average to large fizzy good lacing mostly lasting white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, hay, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a short to avevage duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Borring !
