Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, wood, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, wood, nutty, sweet malt, spicy, anis seed. Cask at Rat & Ratchet, Hudds. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is hay, lemon, earth and light sulphur. The taste is bitter-sweet, lemon meringue pie, decent bitterness, lime, straw and biscuit with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Solid session ale.

Aroma is moderate malty, light roasted and caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft to flat. Half shared with Finn, handpulled cask at The Crown and Kettle. Fawn-coloured head reduced to a patchy surface leaving spotty lacework at the glass. Body is back with a ruby shade. Cocoa nose. Flavoured with dark chocolate added by notes of coffee. Moments of liquorice bitterness towards the ending. Just alright (Manchester, 23.01.2013).
