Cask at the valley bar. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of... and I might be imagining this... fish suppers. Definitely something fishy going on. Taste is more of the briny action, cooked lemon. Lemon takes over on the finish, thankfully.

18th June 2015: cask, hand-pulled pint in The Station, Oakengates. The pub-clip called it a Golden Pale Ale and it wasn’t lying. Decent looking brew, bright golden with a full white crown on top. Nice blend with the malts and hops just about even in depth and flavour to give a well balanced beer. Mild floral nose with a mini-fruit like flavour which gave way to pleasant bitter finish.
