Cask at EBF April. Hazy pale gold. Frothy white head. Aroma has citrus and herbs (is that the CBC?). Underlying vanilla porridge. Herbal. And a citrus sour edge. Bitter. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation with a lazy fizz. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Just doesn't quite do it for me.

Gravity cask at day 2 of the 40th Pigs Ear Beer festival, Round Chapel Hackney, 04/12/24. Moderately hazed golden amber topped with a lasting just off white head. Nose is biscuit, straw, grains, bread dough. Taste comprises stewed fruits, breads, melon, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay cask offering but leaning more towards a bitter than an IPA.

Cask at Pig's Ear. A light haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Light smooth sweet pale malts, a thin but pleasing creamy sweetness. Mild crisp pine into decent juicy citrus, a touch of tropical fruits. Very modest bitter and hop spice on the light finish. Decent brew.
