At We Can Be Friends we make modern alcohol free beer. Alcohol free beer has come a long way over the past few years, but they can still be a bit hit and miss (kind of like craft beer back in 2014) Our aim is to make the best alcohol free beer in the world and we’re using cutting edge science and teaming up with the UK highest rated breweries to get there. We will create some indistinguishable drinks when up against their alcoholic cousins. Opulent, fresh and delicious. Inclusive beers that put a smile on your face.
Cheers,
Sam

440ml can. Very dark brown with a beige/tan head. Aroma of chocolate malts and coffee. Taste of chocolate, coffee, caramel, sweet but the finish leans to the bitter side, it's a good balance, aftertaste a tad fruity. Light-medium bodied, creamy.
Excellent first effort at a NA dark beer. Would love to see this improved upon.

440ml can. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of bready malts, grassy, lemon. Taste of bready malts, mild honeyed sweetness, lemon, grassy/herbal/floral hop notes, light bitterness. Medium bodied, soft.
Great lager, easily competes alongside full strength examples. A bit more crispness and it'd be a banger.

Can from The Hive, Crowthorne. Dark. Virtually black. Thick foamy beige head. Aroma has rich coffee and underlying chewy malts, but strained through through cardboard. Flavourwise it tangy - sour with a sugary sweet dose. Underlying bitterness is more noticeable into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. An approximation of a stout but it isn't quite a stout.

440ml can. Pours a slightly hazed golden with a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, sweet tangy fruity hop notes. Taste is the same, bready malt and some fruity notes, light herbal, light bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Probably WCBF weakest effort yet but nonetheless a solid AF lager.

Can from somewhere. Pours light hazed yellow gold with white foam. Tidy NZ hop vibes on the aroma - lime, gooseberry, white grape etc. Light to moderate sweet & bitter on the taste. Thin-ish body with soft carbonation. A bit more body and this would be top notch.

440ml can. Hazy golden, thin white head, some sediment in the pour. Aroma of peaches, grapefruit. Taste is the same, super juicy, ripe peaches, grapefruit, more citrus fruits, light pithy hop finish, light sweet, low bitterness. Medium bodied. Another outstanding NA IPA. Easily one of the best I've had so far.

Can bought at Cobbett's, Dorking. Hazy pale gols..Thick frothy foamy white head. Looks the job. Aroma is initially soft and gently fruity, before a slightly more bitter piney edged side appears. Flavourwise it's medium bitter. Tangy. Stone fruit. Sherbert sour citrus edge. But knowing it's AF probably manoeuvres me to identifying the underlying soda water element that to an extent dims this beer's light. Light-medium bodied. Thin to slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Ad far as AF beer goes this isna winner but it's still no replacement for a real beer.
