Description
Our family run brewery is based on the North East coast of England. The Head Cod Head Brewer, Ste, comes from an industrial scale ethanol production background and draws all of his inspiration from local walks and his love for the sea, which is where the inspiration for the name came together. These beers are designed around the sea, and the sports that are entwined with them, one of Ste's favourite beers is the Hiker's Gold and enjoying a cold one or two after accomplishing a big hike.

Can ordered from Tap Door on-line. Aroma combines creamy chocolate and malts with a sour berry streak. Dark. Opaque. Thick foamy beige head, with impressive lacing. Tangy coffee berry sourness. Creamy sweetness. A hint of bitterness. But the chocolate is not evident. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough.
