Clear pale blond beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: a bit malty, some caramel, not much going on here… MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty, metallic, grains, soft bitterness, slightly sweet, cow fodder, pretty watery. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bit malty, metallic touch. Very plain and boring...

Can, LIDL. Pale golden white unstable foam. Sweet malt nose, a hint citric,grassy hops. Medium light, foamy body. Lightish sour grain, otherwise bready, minimal bitterhop backstop. Fairly neutral.

The Legendary - Original, klar doch, direkt aus Springfield. Aber trotzdem nicht so schlimm wie erwartet, wenn auch ziemlich fad und künstlich.

0.5 l can from Lidl, shared with little Dina's family. Pale golden, small off-white head. Malty, grainy, some herbs, hay. Difficult to pick out. Very light grainy and grassy flavours, carbonation suspiciously low, slightly sweet, light finish. Expected worse.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 5D). Can 50 cl - Batch L1410519 (BBF 20/05/2021). AROMA: initial medium-light to medium herbaceous hop aroma with a medium grainy-sweet malt background (honey-like). APPEARANCE: pale-gold to gold color and translucent. medium to medium-low white head, creamy, with average retention for the style. TASTE: not so complex as the aroma with medium-low to low hop notes (herbaceous), medium-low background of grainy-sweet malt. slight note of oxidation (cardboard). medium bitterness with a crisp and somewhat dry and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a beer that resembles a more average german pils, drinkable, whose ridiculous Ratebeer score doesnt reflect the actual product.
