Description

Can "Fagerhult Export", alc. 5.3% (BB 08/2006)
Golden color, big creamy white head, lace. Papery malty aroma. Sweet fruity malty, little harshness in the middle. Aftertaste is malty and sweet. Quite clean, strong lager like malty brew, but also very boring.

Bottled. Pale poisonous green colour, no head to talk about. Artificial lime aroma, cactus maybe closer to the aroma... Flavour is quite the same, extreme sweetness with cactus and lime... refreshing drink while cold, but beer... naaah, rather lemonade...

I wanted to celebrate my 200th Swedish rating with something special. And this is it. Pale green, disappearing head. Artificial aroma of lime and sugar. Very sweet and sugary, artificial "cactus" flavor. Nothing to do with beer, no taste of malts nor hops. Sugary lemonade.

Dark brown color. Aroma of caramel and light cereals. Medium sweet, with caramel, saccharin. Something’s wrong...

Almost transaprent water, fizzy but without foam. Candi-like aroma of apples. Medium sweet taste, with candi-like light fruitness, light citrus fruits and an artificial aftertaste. Similar to a Fanta but worse.

500ml bottle at JDW, Liverpool. Disturbingly sweet. Smells and tastes like a Drumstick sweet that I had when I was a kid and cost 2p in sweet shops in England in the early 80s. Awful. Hideous. An abomination. It has taken other Ratebeerians nearly a year to get me to drink cider again and this has almost put me off entirely.

Canned. Golden coloured, big white creamy head, which disappears quickly, lacing. Sweet malts and some alcohol in nose. Flavour is mainly alcohol, with some vegetably malty very sweet hints. Unbalanced. Main thing with this seems to be big percentage. Flavour is totally unbalanced and crap.

Canned. Golden colour, small white foamish head. Caramellish malty aroma with some hops along. Flavour is watery and hayish hoppy. Also some stings of alcohol go through. Not that pleasant. Dry hoppy. A bit fruitish in aftertaste too once it gets warmer.

Canned. Golden colour, big creamy head, lacing. Aroma weak malts and kind of sweet hops. Hoppy flavour which turns sweet maize in finish and aftertaste. Clear, a bit watery. But pleasant.
