Description

(50 cl can from Systembolaget) Tried as Fagerhult Export Beer III, labeled 5.3%. Clear pale golden color, non-lasting white head. Grassy and grainy aroma, also acidic malty. Sweet malty taste with a metallic finish that takes over and lasts long in the aftertaste. Rather watery mouthfeel, low bitterness. Not very nice at all.

Can. Pale, yellow-ish, clear and headless cider, not much color at all. No carbonation either. Artificial and sugary apple-aroma that maybe a child would like, even the sourness is almost completely missing. Like the nose, the palate is artificial and sugary, as well as thin-bodied and a bit fizzy. I feel like a juvenile drinking this one, it’s not suited for anything but getting drunk, and you probably will end up with an intense sugar-rush. Stay off! (070303)

(50 cl can from Systembolaget) I think it’s the same, although in my case the beer is called "Kopparbergs The Beer". It’s ecologically marked and seems to be on the way of not being sold at Systembolaget any longer, I had to specially order mine. Clear pale yellow color, rather big white head. Acidic scent that’s not very nice, rotten grass and some malt also. Sweet sugary taste with a touch of alcohol and also malt. Metallic aftertaste. Rather unpleasant mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Guess it sells to foreignes due to the label, besides that it is quite uninteresting. Clear, pale golden body and a small, white head. Grain, hay, some malt and hops in the aroma. The flavor is a bit sweet, with grains and malt. Thin, sweet mouthfeel, and a sweet finish with alcohol, hay and grains. As already mentioned, it is an uninteresting beer. (070216)

(50 cl can from Systembolaget) Clear pale yellow, like straw, color; big white head. Acidic and sweet scent. Malty boring taste, not much there, though they do seem to mask the alcohol rather well. Doesn’t taste very good the small taste there is though. A bit spritzy mouthfeel, some bitterness, though very low.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Kidlington. This poured almost like water in colour and had an artificially sacchariney aroma. The taste was truly shocking yet another alco-pops style drink far too sweet, last seen swirling it’s merry little way down the sink.

Big plastic botte.
Dark brown color, small coffee head. Sweet, dark bread -like aroma (typical to svagsdricka). Sweet, bready coca cola -like taste. Maybe I could drink this with food, this one is not so sweet than many other commercial examples.
