Chunky and hazy deep orange, bronze and peach coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head that fades very quickly and leaves nothing up top of the ninety per cent opaque, murky body. Aroma of orange juice, deep grassy and herbal hops with a crisp, honey and curacao sweetness in the nose, with some light astringency and alcohol noticeable, too. Medium to Full-bodied; Very deep orangey and mango flavours dominate with some melons as well, with a deep cleanser and grassy finish that ends up showing some light alpha acid bitterness and complexity - all from the hops, and less of the juicy, sweet notes that show up way in the front. Aftertaste shows the dry and grassy notes, but more of the mango, orange and melon flavours that add to the bitterness and complexity, but lay on top of the thinnish malts. Overall, a nice grassy yet citrusey and floral IPA with enough malt and juiciness to be New England-ish, but not really enough to venture into 'Imperial' zone. Nice to try locally and a great name that I can even say around my kids! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 05-May-2021 for US$1,87, canned on 13-March-2021, sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-June-2021.

Couple pints at American Prime in Herndon, pours a muddy brown, some creamy tight white head. Nose is all malts, biscuit, some caramel, sweet dough. Flavors are just malt and biscuit, some yeasty dough, soggy cracker now. Finish starts chewy but ultimately hits a little flabby.

Shaker pint draft at Duke's Grocery Foggy Bottom in Washington, DC. The pour is clear golden copper with a small white head. The aroma is cereal malt and a touch of grass. The taste is clean cereal malt, bit of caramel, grass floral hop touch and a clean finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and the clean dry floral finish. Solid Amber Lager.

Draft pour at Mustang Sally. Poured a pale, cloudy yellow color with a small, white head. This one was a really solid, creamy pils. One of those is is really hard to beat these days for me. Creamy. Grain. Some light grass, with a touch floral character. Quite good.
