Bottle, Total Wine in Fredericksburg. Pours golden-amber with a small white head. Aroma is lightly nutty, green and brown leaves, grass. Flavor is heavy bitter green leaves, browning leaves, caramel. Bitter... kinda thick in the mouth. Thicker than it should be.

At the source: pours loght amber with a white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, and toasty. Taste is slightly sweet. Low bitterness. OK not exciting.

Draft at The Majestic in Alexandria VA. Poured a clear dark orange color with a small white head. Aroma was light caramel malts, light toasted notes. Flavor was sweet grains. Light sweet finish. Light grass, crispness.

Keg at the brewpub, 7/13/16.Clear copper, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel. The taste is toasted grainy malt. Medium bodied.

Some light copper and lightly caramelized malt. Amber pour with ok head and lacing. Light tangy finish with some raw grain. Ok for style, and easy drinking. Tap at brewery.

4 oz pour on draft at Mustang Sally. Sold out shortly after I ordered my flight. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of malt and citrus. Tastes of malt, citrus, biscuit, light stone fruit. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Solid lager.
