Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan NYC (June 2025). Faintly cloudy dark orange-amber with a frothy off-white head, orange peel aroma, medium carbonation, biter orange peel taste with piney flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Nice and clean DIPA.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a deep dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma reveals soft bready malt, quite subdued whiskey barrel presence, and toasted caramel. Flavour is much the same, with toasted caramel and bready malt upfront, accentuated by the subtle whiskey barrel presence that shows itself more as you dig in more. Smooth, cohesive and subtly complex. Best I've had from North Fork in a while.

16oz can pours a translucent yellow with some sudsy white head. Nose is OK, soapy, some citrus, herbs, potpourri, a bit oxidized. Flavor has malt and honey comb, some breakfast cereal, oranges, soap. Finishes full bodied, off dry, big cereal note, lightly bitter. 6 4 7 3 12
