Capped 500 from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear dark brown with a large foamy tan head. Aroma of roasty malt and something herb/veg. Dry and pretty bitter. Flavor matches the aroma. Can't pin down a particular hop - just herbal.

Bottle from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours gold with a transient white head. Aroma of cooked fruit and some sort of hop. Arguably med body. Dry. Moderately bitter or more. Maybe cooked fruit is unfair. Pale stone fruit and some sort of spicy hop like passion fruit? Malt is subdued. Dated 02/2026 so shouldn't be too old. It has wheat, so maybe that's rendering it "different". With time I'm likin it.

Capped 500 from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear bright gold with a slight white head that didn't persist. Aroma of bready malt with some citrus and yeast/spice - not a strong aroma but I can parse it. Med body. Flavor is the aroma. The yeast/spice is decently strong, and I think Cardamom is in the mix. Citrus starts to suggest orange zest in a mild way.

Capped 500 from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear darkish amber with a nice creamy tan head that failed to persist. Amber/toffee malt aroma. Med body. Amber/toffee flavor. There's enough hop to provide balancing bitterness, but my best guess is a mix of floral and Nobel. Not dry, but malty in a not very sweet way. Good drink.

Bottle muled home from Brazil, cheers Kev. Pours dark brown with beige foam. Aroma: sweet malts, red fruits, dried fruits, caramel, toffee, demerara, boozy. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, somewhat harsh, lacks balance. Medium body with soft carbonation.
