[44cl can at my daughter’s in Bearsden.] A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; lemony citrus aroma; sharp citrus taste. Crisp and refreshing.

Bottle picked up at Drygate. It pours hazy reddish - brown with a decent frothy khaki head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, intoxicating, oily, dried fruits, red berry, jammy, definite sweet sherry vibes, fruit compote and damp oak. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toothy, tannin, piney, varnished wood, resin, sappy, dried fruits, jammy, definite sherry character, fruit cake and only limited alcohol presence with a drying finish. Medium+ body and fine+ carbonation. Works rather well. Fun beer.

330ml bottle from Drygate Tap - Deep ruby brown body, little head. Nose is strong in the fruit, winey, lots of berries. Taste is tart berry, warm booze, dry finish.

On tap at Drygate - Hazy yellow body, little head. Lots of herby notes in the nose, taste has a salt kick to it, herby and zesty citrus. Fresh.

On tap at Drygate Tap - Deep dark body, grey head. Nose is roasty and nutty, black coffee and dark chocolate. Taste has all the above and dark cake fruit. Good one.

Keg at The Newmachar Hotel. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick, froth off - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, fresh pine, nice floral accents, green, grassy, perfumed, tropical fruits, coconut and some biscuit. The taste is firmly dry, crisp, snappy, decent hit of bitterness which lingers, pine needles, green, floral, twist of lemony citrus, touch of peppery spice and biscuit malt base with a drying, bitter finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Actually drinks quite nice. Decent semi-macro sessioner.

440ml can from Drygate Brewery Shop - Hazy yellow body, short lived white top. Nose is minty, taste follows suit with a tangy tropical fruit, flowery and with a cute little salty kick. Fresh.
