Keg at Drygate. It pours clear bright golden - yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, herbal, grassy, spicy, sweet doughy bread, sponge cake, grain and oatcakes. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, herbal, grassy, spice, warning booze, doughy white bread, cereal, nuttiness, hint of citrus, leafy, grain, oakcakes, snappy and punchy with a dry, slightly tannic finish. Medium+ body, moderate carbonation and fluffy carbonation. Slick, oily mouth feel. Restrained, but actually rather nice. Really grows on you.

Keg at Drygate (no hops noted on the tap or list). It pours pretty clear golden - amber with a thick, fairly dense off -white head. The aroma is sweet and sappy, oily, candied citrus, grapefruit, splash of lemonade and light candy. The taste is crisp, dry, punchy bitterness, pithy, zesty, sappy, bone dry oak, west coast greenness, leafy, grapefruit, tangerine, peppery spice and a slap of booze with a drying, bitter - sweet linger. Medium body and moderate+ foamy carbonation. Decent west coast number.

Keg at Drygate. It pours hazy yellow with a small, scummy white head. The aroma is savoury and umami, hit of celery salt upfront (of which I am a big fan), grain, straw, hay and kitty litter. The taste is all about the lime upfront, spritzy, zingy, lime sherbet, vibrant, refreshers, lemony, gooseberry, salted crackers, more regular salt than celery on the taste, but it is there in a more subdued way, seltzer and minerals with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Love it. Disconnect between aroma and taste, but super fun.

Keg at Drygate. It pours clear rich blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is oily, fatty, unctuous, vinous, sweet white wine, honeyed cereal, honeycake, tangy citrus, lemon - lime, kiwi fruit, ripe melon, farmhouse loaf, rivita, nuttiness and spice. The taste is slick, tangy, juicy, sweet - sour, lemon - lime, pithy, zesty, warming boozy heat, sweet white wine, gooseberry, sherbet, melon, kiwi fruit, tannin, oak spice, hay, straw, deep funk, hay, barnyard, touch of leather and toasted nuts. Medium body, fine prickly carbonation and slick mouth feel. Great depth, complex and quaffable. One of Drygate's best.

Keg at Drygate. It pours hazy golden - yellow with a frothy white cap. The aroma is floury white bread and tropical fruit punch, papaya, apricot, peach, mango, tangerine, passion fruit and some greenness. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, sappy, resinous, zesty citrus, bitter orange, splash of campari, tropical fruit vibes in there, papaya, guava, slightly grainy, chalky, floury, greenness and a nip of alcohol with a drying, floury finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice aroma and taste is decent, if a bit chalky.

Keg at Drygate. It pours ever so slightly hazy straw yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma is meaty, oak smoked action, smoked German cheese, grain, oatcakes and cereal. The taste is firm and dry, oakcakes, porridge, tannin, oak, dull smoke, spicy, bready and crisp biscuit with a drying finish. Light+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Unique and pleasing. Interesting with decent depth.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Todmorden. Its raspberry impacts its appearance more than its peach, but the reverse is true about its aroma. Raspberry is again dominant in taste, although there's a dryness attached, which doesn't allow for much of an aftertaste. Not as much of a 'smoothie' as expected but it is apparent.

Can at James's. Pours pale golden, nose is mint cream, lime, lychee, taste is zesty, juicy fruit, minty finish. Very weird.
