Draught @ Beermiscuous, Chicago IL (Nov 2025). Faintly cloudy dark amber with a small frothy off-white head, caramel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter caramel taste with strong alcohol undertones, toffee, thin body, long finish. Boozy but not bad.

Tap at Maplewood. Steady beige head, brown black body. My first time having Mulberry smoked wood anything. Smoke is mild, but gives it some depth. Chewy, rich. Good.

16oz can c/o Ryan. My kind of beer. They call it a British Strong Ale, I'd call it an English Barleywine. Fruity ale yeast, deep malt depth. Steady chewy hop balance. Really well done.
