Draught @ the brewery (Oct 2025). Extremely hazy bright pale uellow with a small foamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel, faint unripe mango-guava taste, smooth body, long finish. Solid NEIPA.

16 oz. can from Nik & Ivy. Orangey Märzen color under a thivk, fizzy head. Caramel malty smell is nice. Equally caramel roasty malt. Hearty, almost chewy. Could use some more hop, but I guess a true aged Märzen would be hard to keep the hops forward.

Pint can from N & I. A light vanilla smell under the tab. Pour is a hazy gold color with some fast-disappearing bubbles. Light malty ale with vanilla as expected. It's hard to make cream soda stand out in the first place, and the added vanilla just gets in the way.

Taster at Nik & Ivy. Hazy, almost milky in the taster glass. Light hop and citrus nose. Taste is also kind of mild. Citrusy hops, smooth oat malts. A bit of yeast still in the beer makes it a bit of a distraction.

Taster at Nik & Ivy. Brownish black, very thin edge of foam. Nice heady smell of actual bourbon. Not much better to the nose, just warming alcohol. Rich and malty taste. Almost no roast. Just smooth with that bourbon taste, the way we imagine bourbon should be. I'd like to try it after more barrel time, but frankly this is just great as is.

Italian Pils tap at Nik & Ivy. Bright, clean, zesty. Really solid and true for the style. Good stuff.

Golden beer under a thick foamy head. Smell is kind of a standard pale ale, favoring American hops. Kind of a starndard pale ale taste. I think the mouthfeel gets a little thin for the bitterness it's supposed to support.

Taster from tap at the Rotary Grove Beer Fest, Downers Grove, IL, 6/25. Hazy pinkish tap pour, plenty of foam overflowing the sample glass. Fruit smell is light and dry, some wheat beer spice comes through. Dry in the palate, light blueberry taste matched by beer malts. Just had a really sweet for Mead before this, and it's a nice counterpoint.
