16oz can. Beer for people who don't like beer but want a beer that tastes like beer. Better ingredients and mouthfeel and aroma and flavor than any macro. Simplistic, better suited for a cheap happy hour special or 6 pack than a premium priced 4 pack. OK.

16oz can c/o Ryan. Orange-tan body, massive head. Dry, bubblegum ester aroma. A really nice Saison, going for something full bodied like Saison Dupont. I'm not wild about the aroma, but the body is great. Well attenuated, high carbonation...suitable for the style. Really leans into the style, well done.

Draught @ Geneva Ale House, Geneva IL (Nov 2025). Pours faintly cloudy reddish brown with a small frothy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, medium carbonation, bitterish caramel malt taste, thin body, long finish. Decent brew.

A bit of a pillow head, nice surprise for an adjunct beer in a small glass. Darker gold than previous. Smell is pretty light but after a while I just catch some unmodified wheat. Not as much coffee taste to this, but the notes of grain from a home made style farmhouse. Date & hazelnut latte to pair does affect the taste, but this nice and complex, with both coffee and plum with the wheat.

16oz can. Perhaps a little faded, but still enjoyable. Lack of dates on the can are the one thing I don't like about Brother Chimp. Viney, Neo-Mexicanus hop tone. A little thin, juicy, oaty. OK.

16oz can. Rich, bready, awesome Bock. Perfect lagering. Deep malt depth. Rich caramel, pumpernickel, brown chocolate. Excellent stuff.

Tap at Skeleton Key. Fantastic stuff, perhaps the best mouthfeel of any dark lager I've had. Super clean and drinkable, great malt tone as well. Really good.

Tap at Brother Chimp. Just awesome. Premium UK malt. Classical and just perfectly executed. I'm not sure there is a better Porter than this in 2024.

Tap at Brother Chimp. Very drinkable Dubbel, yeast restrained...no bold esters or anything like that. Great balance. Good stuff.
