4 pack from 2HR on their last day of operation. Big slightly yellow foamy pour over a deep gold/amber beer. Big malt nose. And the taste is big on caramel roast malts, maybe a little rye. Prickly noble hop on the lips. Really fine example of a malty festbier.

Amber color, thin foam leaving some lace behind. Nice big pine and resin nose with a bit of blueberry too. Big APA taste, plenty of pine and just badass hop. Drinking it nice and cold, which helps to keep the malt handy. Served at Two Hound Red, which is closing Sunday, so it's kind of late to add a venue.

Tap at THR. Pleasant enough straightforward beer. Clean, clear, bready, sort of bright. OK.

Can at THR. Quite earthy, which is suitable for the style, but some odd undertones too. Drinkable, but not so impressive.

Tap at THR. Hefty, rich, a little fuller bodied than typical Bamberg stuff. As much caramel as smoke. OK
