Description
A craft brewery located in Vigneux de Bretagne, near Nantes, NAO is first and foremost the story of a meeting between beer enthusiasts. Experts in the brewing profession and mad brewing scientists, with boundless and boundless imagination. Together, they want to create bold and original beer recipes. The same vision of things, the same desire... So GO, let's go, it's now, it's NAOOO! The NAO brewing adventure begins and offers original and innovative recipes. Aromas, flavor, roundness... NAO does not forbid itself anything, except a constant search for quality. Quality of the ingredients of course, but also of their combination.
By choosing NAO as a name, we wanted to condense all the facets of our brewery into three small letters. Because Nao is not only the diminutive of Naoned, Nantes in Breton, but it also means "nine". Nine, like the number of degrees of our flagship beer, Origin Ale; and nine, like the taste that NAO wants to bring to its beers.

(Keg at Station Pub, Rennes, 20240609) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had coriander, citrus fruits, pine and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, grass, coriander, grapefruit, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was dry, spicy and bitter. A brew with pleasant aroma but the taste was disappointing: all the flavours were just musty.

0,25l on tap @ Le Sur Mesure. Pours cloudy amber with a medium head. Aroma is sweet malts. Flavor is sweet malts, alcohol, hops. Probably doesn't really try to be a tripel, but some French triple. Decent.
