Cask at Sportsman, Buffs. It pours golden amber with medium white head. The nose is bread, hay, orange sherbet and touch of spice. The taste is bitter-sweet, earth, straw, dough, grapefruit, pithy lime, orange peel and a touch of alcohol with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Decent.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. More or less pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, toffee, caramel, mild sour wooden notes. Flavour is mild ashes, berries, some wood, ripe fruits and mild sour wooden notes. A bit sour (infected?), but still not hopelessly gone.
