500mL bottle. Pours hazy deep gold with a white head. Musty nose, lots of grape skins, some funky wild yeast. Flavour has funky wild yeast, musty grape skins, and a yeast character that comes off kind of Belgian. Definitely more on the juicy side of grape saisons, rather than dry and musty, but still very well done.

473mL can. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Dry caramel, toasted bread, some crusts, a bit of dry grass on the nose. Flavour has dry caramel, toasted bready malts. Pretty decent Irish red, the malts are nicely done.

473mL can. Pours hazy blonde with a white head. Grainy malts and spicy Belgian yeast on the nose. Flavour has grainy malts, herbal, and a light, spicy Belgian yeast character. Tastes a bit strained. Not as good as I remember, but still pretty decent. And nice to see an NS brewery with a saison in their regular rotation.

473mL can bought at their Hubbards market stall. Pours murky mahagony with a light pink head. Dark juicy berries and some sweet honey on the nose. Flavour has lots of dark berries. Almost exclusively that, the honey is undetectable. Tastes more like a dry berry soda than a mead. Nothing wrong with it per se, but hard to rate it well as a mead.

473mL can. Pours gold with a slight haze and a white head. Lots of estery yeast and floral lavender on the nose. Flavour also has a pretty prominent estery Belgian yeast profile, some spicy, earthy notes, tons of floral lavender, maybe some slightly bitter lemon rind. Fairly dry with good complexity and a nice floral character. Good carbonation. This definitely gets better as it comes to temperature a bit. Very nice.

I'm generally not a huge fan of session meads, but the barrel-aging does give it good complexity; definitely my favourite of this series so far.

473mL can. Pours murky dull gold with a minimal head. Nose is fairly light; some musty peaches. Flavour has lots of juicy peaches, lots of rum character, but not overwhelming, and a slightly estery Belgian yeast character. This comes together very well, the peaches and rum work well.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head, turning murky once the yeast at the bottom of the can was added. Fruity peach and coconut as well as some saison yeast on the nose. Flavour has lots of peach and coconut, some strawberries a bit more in the background, and a spicy saison yeast character. An interesting take on a fruity summer beer, the rustic yeast does ground the flavours of the adjuncts. I'm not sure I'm aware huge fan of the concept, but I think it was well-executed.
