473mL can. Pours clear gold with very small white head. Aroma has very gentle banana and clove esters, barley. Flavour has very gentle Hefeweizen character: spicy yeast, cloves, coriander; some grainy barley character. Quite a pleasant and well-moderated use of estery yeast. Quite pleasant.

473mL can. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Aroma has old pine, ghosts of tropical fruit, some wood. Flavour has pine, citrus, dry wood; fairly solid malt base. Nice yeast character I think? Still has decent carbonation. This is an neat experiment. The dry wood character is an interesting addition to an IPA profile, though I'd say it doesn't offset the loss in hop expression due to aging. As an IPA this is not great, but viewing aged IPA as a unique sub-style, it seems like a pretty reasonable take.

473mL can, pours a minimally hazy golden blonde with a huge white head for some reason. Nose exudes shitloads of divine Nelson -- with huge gooseberry, white wine tang, and a little tropical fruit -- damn. Flavour is crisp, with lots of white wine tanginess, citrus hops, some gooseberry, bright grass, and crisp biscuity malt to back. The hop expression is more intense and well-dialed in than many (if not most) IPAs. Great Nelson expression.

355mL can. Pours murky light brown with minimal white head. Aroma has a lot of rum, apples, caramel malts. Flavour has a lot of apple-y rum, caramel malts, surprisingly tart. Too much apple brandy, not well-balanced.

355mL can, pours a cloudy deep dark maroon with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with strong rum barrels, a little perfumey, and some earthiness. Flavour is very tart, with a strange tart red fruits, intense rum barrels, perfumey notes, and some earthiness. Way too tart and perfumey. Not a disaster, but I'm not a fan.

500mL bottle, pours a clear dark red with a tiny head. Aroma brings out lots of dry grape skins, and a touch of rustic saison yeast. Flavour is tannic and dry, with a nice red grape skins, some rustic notes, and a touch of tannins. Real nice grape expression. Very good.
