Clear 500ml via Press online. Few months in the basement, few weeks in the fridge. Served cold, premature ejaculation, just lost some of the neck. Two bottle bombs in a row today.
Lo-ball at home. Soda, honey orange amber, subtle pour that goes still.
Buttery-savory apple, bittersweet, leaf mulch nose.
Tannic & honey-laced initial impression. Earthy veg bitterness, green & unripe berries, clay, bag of dried fruit. The sharp & rich crab gets buried in mellow bittersweet. It's a good blend but I will always lean to sharps.
Crispy, thin, oily, lightly astringent, puckering acid on the very tail.
Good.

Quick soda flush. Pale iced tea, mostly clear, if a touch of haze.
Herbal, lightweight, lemon tea, lettuce, oaky nose.
Bittersharp. Rounded, some honey, bitter olive, small astringency, lemon, moderate low-end game astringency. Wax. Dry.
Thin, soft & low carb, boozy, lightly tart.
Good, but a little spendy.

On tap at Baum's on Oak (Portland). Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has a white wine character. Flavour is pretty similar. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Bauman's, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is a bit bland, with some light hay and dry crisp apple skins. Flavour has a reasonable depth, with light buttery notes, crisp apple skins, and a touch of white wine-like character. Has some buttery Chardonnay on the finish. Very good.

Bottle from Press online. Mojito glass @home. Quick soda head, pale gold, faint haze. Minerally, creamy oak, mellow skin, slightly acidic flesh nose. Complex tropical fruit & champagne minerally feels upfront. Soft but lingering astringency, lemon, sweet onion, savory, old wood, sulfited dried fruit, moderately sharp pear & accompanying honey-tart sweetness. Thin, creamy even carbonation, even acidity, refined, lightly tannic finish, touch of age. I want to rate this higher. Really great.

500ml bottle from Press online. Mojito glass @home. Intentionally still, but gurgled the pour. Medium gold, slightly dull. Oily, savory, onion, passive floral nose. Upfront acid & a bit of citrus tartness. Dry, or nearly, soft astringency, lingering pith, sweet onion & some herbs. Feel is definitely a little greasy. Russet oaky-ness, bright & rounded sharpness, dried fruit, slight popsicle stick on the finish. Tasty. Deserves a higher rating, but I drank it too fast.

Quince cider. 500ml bottle from Press online. Pint glass @home. Clear, frothy, pale gold pour. Looks a bit like a beer. Bitter-sharp, dry pineapple, apple core. Missing the huge floral nose found in the last few west coast quince bottles. Taste is nicely dry with sour fruit, most like floral pineapple & a lingering, bitter-tart apple. Reminds me of softer, more astringent, cold climate-grown quince. Or there is just a lot of undocumented bitter-tart apple in this. Anyway, it's overtly crispy, forced carb, thin, pleasantly astringent with a somewhat hidden abv & it drinks itself quickly. Cheers.
