Clean, golden colour with a frothy-bubbly white head, good stay and leaving streak of sticky lacing. Spicy Pils aroma, but with a fresh, herbal touch to it - over the malt base. The taste is very fresh, blending again the light spiciness with herb notes and a tad citrus to add a little extra. Crisp mouthfeel with some good building dryness that lingers. Citrus zest, and that spicy feel that re-appears. This is quite an amazing, easy-drinking NZ Pilsner, but with so much happening, all balanced and delicious.

Hazy, golden with an orange hue, a white frothy cap, good stay and some foamy lacing spots left. Fresh, juicy, citrusy aromas with tropical notes and a touch of white grapes. Same for taste with the vinous notes nicely lingering a bit. Then, citrus zest. Not too thick, quite refreshing and the finish is a slow, mild dryness. A good juicy, hazy Pale Ale with the Riwaka showing its thing.

Hazy, golden-orange colour with a big, frothy-creamyish warm off-white head, good retention and leaving soapy-foamy lacing all-around. Huge orange juice aromas with some zest coming out after breathing, oats and a touch of grassiness. Lightly creamy mouthfeel, with some mild building dryness. Light zest bitterness is left on the tongue with time. A tad alcohol, bitter, zesty flavours builds up. A refreshing juicy, but drying, Double IPA collaboration with good citrusy zestiness. I still prefer the Wills Double IPA (no number) recently released.

Pours a clean, darker brown colour with ruby-copper highlights, a creamyish, light mocha-coloured head, good retention and nice foamy lacing. A nutty malt base with a touch of caramel, roasted barley with some hoppy grassiness. Maybe a tad coffee as well, which continues in the taste, blending with the grassy notes in the finish. Some decent bitterness, and good dryness comes out of this. Gets a little hazy near the last pour. A nice American Brown Ale with the hoppiness, and darker malts underneath.

Hazy golden colour with an orange hue, a creamy-frothy warm-whitish cap that lasts quite a while, leaving creamyish lacing. Mango, oats and other tropical fruits in the aromas. An orange juice base comes out with time, as a base. A little creaminess in the mouthfeel with some decent dryness in the long end. Some pretty nice tropical fruits in the taste as well. Some citrus zest lingering. Not a bad Hazy IPA that has good juiciness, citrusy, tropical notes and mild dryness.

Can, courtesy of Ryan; 6 months old
Cloudy blond colour. Strong aroma, pungent hops, passion fruit, light vanilla. Mild residual sweetness; juicy malts; strong hopping, it seems to have some juicy character, stone fruit, but unfortunately also too much pith.
Overall, clumsy but good.

16oz @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: cloudy straw with a white head. Aroma: dank, weedy, fruity, some sweetness, a bit of vanilla. Taste: harsh, lots of herbal hops, quite bitter. Overall: weird.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg Dec 2023). Hazy gold with small white head. Juicy citrus aroma, feint dank note, taste has some hop burn, decent.
