Rated at Ryyppyliiteri. Dry, roasty and earthy with some ashy peanut butter notes, stingy nutty notes and cocoa. A bit unbalanced

CBJ Tasting. Bottle thanks to Colin for the can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and a slightly viscous palate, modest fine carbonation. Soft rich dark chocolate and biscuity dark chocolate malts. A light finish. Tidy, might hope it would do a tad more for the hefty abv.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/07/24. Hazed orange with a lasting just off white head. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, pineapple, lychee, bitter orange, grapefruit zest. Taste comprises bitter tropicana, grass, pine resin, mango, sticky citric shreds, guava, mandarin, ripe melon. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Tidy enough TIPA ... not too sweet ... but lacking a little cohesion so not top of class for me.

Can shared at CBJ - cheers. Pours rich black-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour, a little charred popcorn, sugary chocolate, roast, booze, malts. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, rounded dark malts. So so.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy and fairly dry palate, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Cooling pine. Mild but bright citrus. Crisp piney citrus into peachy stone fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Fine, nothing special, tad grainy.

Can. A light haze on this rich gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, good fine minerally carbonation. Airy malts, a thin creamy malts, quite cereal. West Coast style marmalade and citric peel hops. Light candy fruits. Light and semi dry finish, a mild hop spice. A decent beer here somewhere, marred by cereal malts and West Coast nonsense.
