Clear rubyred color and almost no head. Big fan of B.Nektar but a little frightend of the chili. Nice fruityness with a well balanced spicyness.

Half liter bottle from Ridgeview Liquor, 6/7/21. Clear pink-orange, thin fizzy head, poor retention. Aroma of apple, blueberry, citrus. Taste is sweet honey, tangerine, citrus, lemon, and a berry finish. Moderate carb, maybe a bit too high. I agree with the previous rater... for the mead the honey gets overshadowed. Overall, pretty decent.

Half liter bottle from Keweenaw Co-op, 6/21/20, as New Wave. Hazy pink, fizzy head that fades quickly. Aroma of honey, vanilla, lemon. Taste is strong berry, vanilla, honey, tart lemon. Medium bodied, well balanced. Slick and oily. Mild lingering tartness. Nice.

Taste from a can. Pours a clear, red color, without much head. The aroma is raspberry, black cherry, and fiji apples. Crisp and very acidic. This is a sharp and flavorful cider.

Bottle from Appalachian Vinter. Batch: 836-1, 8/20. Pint glass @home. Purchased because it wasn't another adjunct brew & I wanted to see if their bare cider was any good. Clear, shiny gold brew, fizzles, with some lingering activity. Smells of sulfites, yeast, straw, no apples. Taste is acidy apples, yeast, sulfites, iron, core, seeds. I love acid, but this is carbonic, preserved & not really tasty. Acidy backwash, moderate carbonation, very thin. Now I know why they flavor these.
