bottle, bought in Wolnzach. Cloudy brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of chocolate. Full-bodied, malty flavours, roasted malts, banana and chocolate - which is a delicious combination. A fine brew.

500ml bottle bought at Reading BF 09, drunk at home. Certainly lots of weisse in this. God I mean completely opaque white/orange. Thick lasting off white head. Tastes fine though. Must be the uglisest beer Iβve ever had. Fresh weizen aroma. Yeast and cereal. Good fullnes in mouth, the extra alcohol gives it some booziness. Some lemon tangerine flavours on the finish with more wheaty flavours. From the look of it you would think it would taste awful, but in the mouth itβs full and tasty. Decent

bottle, Schlosshof Wolnzach. Cloudy amber-yellow colour, large head. Yeasty-wheaty-malty, light-bodied. Shy flavours, but quite good for a low alcohol beer.

Bottle. A slightly unclear, amber beer with a beige head of moderate size. Weak nose with caramel and some banana. A little touch of spicyness too. Caramel, banana, sweetness and a touch of licorice. Weak finish with caramel, some banana and spices, but not much bitterness. Low on carbonation, at least according to the style, and medium bodied. Easy to drink, but rather boring. Lacks on both aroma, flavor and effervescence. (081031)

Bottle. Cloudy orangey brown beer. The aroma is fruity and orangey, and the flavour is malty and banana like. Overall a nice wheat beer.

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, large and very creamy head, very persistent. Yeasty-wheaty nose. Full-bodied, malty, pleasantly but not overwhelmingly fruity, wheaty and yeasty. A perfectly balanced Hefeweizen - a real pleasure.

Bottle. Pours a nice, hazy well-carbonating yellowish golden with nice, lasting white head. Banana and cloves in the aroma, with focus on the banana. Pleasant citrusy aroma too. Both orange and lemon. Quite sweet on the palate, with a little sourish note and some bitterness.Flavors of orange, lemon and banana have company of some cloves. The finish is much the same as the initial flavor. The beer is a bit sticky in the mouth, but a refreshing, quenching and well-tasting hefeweizen. (080728)
