Half-pint, shared with Finn. Off-white head over a clear, reddish-brown body, laces well. Inviting aromas of cereal malts and leafy hops. Well blended taste, hints of dried fruits, leafy hops and mid-sweet malts. Bittersweet ending, hints of spices to it. Nice. (Liverpool, 13.02.2025).

One-third pint. rich lacing from a fair white head, misty golden-orange body. Inviting smell of fresh citrus fruits. Citrus flavours as well with impacts of orange up front, pale malty support. Mild bitter fruity ending. Soft on the swallow. Pretty good. (Liverpool, 13.02.2025).

Nose is bitter orange, grass, straw, hint of caramel malts.
Taste comprises biscuit, grains, orange zest, light astringent notes, caramel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Okay and drinkable but rather the basic model in this era.
