Clear golden. Aroma is honey, some wheat, some vegetables, lots of hayish malt. Taste is full bodied, alcoholic, quite tart, a bit sharp and not smooth. Vegetables in the finish. Meh.

Bottle, many thanks MoritzF! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is honey, grassy hops, some melon. Taste is honey, cereals, melon. A tiny touch of phenols in the back, slightly warming finish. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A nice Heller Bock, much cleaner than expected from reading some older reviews.

Bottle. Clear golden, low detergent foam head. Hayish malt, light honeycake aroma. Medium full, chewy body, clear grainy and hayish malt, light spice and acid, a bit chalk, good grassy hop counterpoint which cuts well through the breadiness, not super exiting but mostly clean and moreish.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Slightly strawy and delicately honey-ish malty aroma with hints of butter, grainy spots and flowery hops in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly sweet malty and delicately buttery taste with notes of cereals, straw and honey, backed by mildly flowery hops, getting a tad spicy towards the moderately sweet and mildly hop bitter finish. Likeable pale Bock. 11.XII.17

Pours clear blonde, small white head, good stability. Smell is medium-low intensity, pilsner malts. Taste is sharp, pilsner malts, quite some bitterness. Minor metallic notes, but they dont bother, really. Sharp carbonation that is rather high' thin body. Quite well tasting.typical german lager, but very good quality, and of course more thin and less intense. Still pretty enjoyable though and a certainly nice replacement for an everyday lager.
